Beagle / Australian Shepherd / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Toe-Bee the Dog needs a home

Toe-Bee is a 4 year old Beagle/Australian Shepherd Mix (what a combo!) who is a fun-loving cuddle bug that has lots of extra toes!

Toe-Bee was brought into Maricopa County Animal Care & Control as a stray with another dog. Both were beyond emaciated and placed on the euthanasia list for human aggression, which neither of them actually turned out to be. In fact, staff even commented later on how awesome their personalities were.

Both were taken straight to the vet and were given a clean bill of health. X-rays showed that the twist to Toe-Bee's leg was likely congenital and was not the result of an injury or fracture. Toe-Bee did need to gain weight, about 10lbs for him and his friend needed to gain about 40lbs!

Toe-Bee is a super happy-go-lucky guy that loves to have fun! He is always wagging his tail with a huge smile on his face! He loves to run and play until he decides it is cuddle time and then will jump in your lap! He is a gentleman on a leash, is potty trained, and crate trained. He can be dominant with some dogs but gets along with most, seems to be okay with cats, and would do best with children 8 years old and up.

Toe-Bee is neutered, current on Rabies and 4-1 vaccines, and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $100.
